Dear Authors:

We are all profoundly heartbroken over the loss of life, property, and security caused by the fires that have devastated Los Angeles. The harrowing stories of survival and the news reports have been deeply distressing. Some of you may have been personally affected.

Authors for LA was created to help. Organized by Daniel Palmer and Jeff Ayers, we have partnered with the American Red Cross and Givebutter to raise much-needed funds for immediate relief, supporting those who have suffered the most.

We are actively seeking authors who wish to donate their time, talent, a character name, a signed book, or something else for people to bid on during the auction. All auction proceeds will go to the American Red Cross. Click here to donate an item for the auction. 

On Wednesday, January 22 at 6-10 pm ET, we will host a live online event featuring some of our well-known colleagues to drive traffic and bids to the auction.
